31 years
Today is my mother and father's 31st wedding anniversary. I must say, that is a lot of years. As someone who is married (only 6 years) I admire their commitment. They have seen good times, gone through rough patches, and had some wonderful life experiences in their 31 years. Thoughout all of that, one thing has remained strong, their faith in each other, their faith in God, and their faith in marriage. In a world where divorce occurs in almost 1 out of every 2 marriages, they are to be admired. So today I applaud them, for both their efforts and their love for each other (not to mention their ability to produce beautiful children!) Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. I love you.
